So I know that there are many folks who are planning on coming to SunFest this year and I'm just wondering how much of our extended family we are going to get to see! So...are you coming?

My family will be there, as I have not missed this event since Egypt (1999). Looking foorward to it this year especially, as the site staff are quite thrilled to have us!
Last year they mentioned our main fire was not high enoiugh, and our drums needed to be louder. I am hoping my drum will be re-skinned by then to add it to the mix!
Come join us on this spoke of the wheel, and let us hear the drums (and songs) echo back from the hills!

Sun, June 1, 2008 - 1:48 PMI will be there! I went to this site last year and it is so beautiful. (Plus there are showers) The things I remembered most are the Bull Frogs singing wth the drums, the mist in the morning, The green of the river, and the Hills surrounding us. Oh and Matty in sponge bob square pants pajamma pants flying a kyte in the field with Ellen.
I'm very excited to get back and enjoy this event again.

Mon, June 2, 2008 - 2:16 AMI have to say, what I remember most is how well our community worked together, Matty and his chant, seeing the elk first think in the morning just outside my tent, and the fabulous people who run the site happly grumbling about; out fire being to small ("can we bring down the back hoe to make it bigger" was their solution lol), and wanting us to be louder with the drums (and not because we were quiet, but because they were so into us and what we were doing). -

Funny story... since i was hoping to go to the coast for low tide and a a day.. the 'ol man says well if you're going all that way and gonna spend the gas money anyhow, why not just go for the festival weekend...
So, yeah! , and happily agreed that it is only the logical thing to do!

plus if i think of it will bring along some more songs (pagan chants) for our Lady Byrd!

Mon, June 16, 2008 - 12:30 PMKing Brian and I will be there with our young sons... we are so excited! I'm having a hard time working! I just want to run home and pack! I just spoke with the sight and they have the field mowed, the fire wood ready. The only thing missing is us! How fabulous to be wanted!
I hope you can all attend... it will be a fabulous feast! If you haven't already registered go to the website www.owow.org and register with paypal or pay at the gate. Don't forget to print out the registration packet!
